What is the difference between Reverse Osmosis (RO) and Deionization (DI)?
While RO removes the majority of contaminants, DI is used when you need “ultra-pure” water. In many Michigan industrial setups, American Aqua installs an RO system as a “pretreatment” to remove 95% of solids, followed by DI tanks to “polish” the water to its final high-resistivity state.
How do I know when my DI tanks need to be exchanged?
We install quality lights or digital resistivity meters. When the water quality drops below your required threshold, the light will change color, signaling it’s time for American Aqua to swap your tanks.
Is DI water safe for plumbing in my Michigan facility?
